Hey, guys, I've got a question.

[He sighs. It's something that's been bothering him for a while.]

See, I've got this friend, who's... well, he's a little shy. Doesn't have a lot of friends, kinda serious and lately it seems like he's had a lot on his mind.

For those of you who don't know him, his name's Kohan. He's tall, has silver hair with black streaks, looks kinda like Riku...

Anyway, I'm just wondering what I should do. I really wanna make him feel better, but I don't wanna force things on him and make him uncomfortable.

Ven rubs at the back of his neck.]

See, I got this guy for Christmas, but I'm not really sure how to take care of him or what he really is. I get that he's some kinda horse, but that emblem on him's really unfamiliar. I know he's definitely not an Unversed...

Plus, I dunno what I oughta be feeding him. All I do know is that he keeps staring at the bakery whenever we walk by.

[But later on, Ven can be found riding on his colorful steed. ...awkwardly.

It seems that his Dream Eater's taking him on a wild goose chase, straight for the bakery, and... Right into the roof, leading to an awkward landing when the two slide down from the edge.

But that's what I don't get. What's got him so confused in the first place?

[It almost sounds like Ion knows something about it. Strange...]

[As much as Ion doesn't want to violate Kohan's right to privacy, it's pretty clear Ventus is worried about him. Perhaps he can shed a little light without revealing too much...]

[After all, as far as Ion knows, this could very well be entirely his fault.]

[...Wow, he sure wasn't expecting that. But what does it mean? Did this guy have something to do with what's going on with Kohan?

Ven's not about to blame anybody, but Ion's definitely got his attention know.]

So, what d'you think did happen?

In truth, it's possible this could be my fault.

The last time Kohan and I spoke, we... [Had a very awkward and uncomfortable and perhaps even depressing conversation after Kohan had been avoiding Ion that later resulted in Ion now avoiding Kohan.] ...it didn't go very well. We had a disagreement of sorts late last month, and in trying to fix things, I believe I may have only made them worse. We... haven't really seen each other since then.

...Oh.

[He takes a few moments to let Ion's words sink in.

So, they had a disagreement, huh? Ven can definitely relate. Almost immediately, his mind jumps to the argument between Terra and Aqua back in Radiant Garden and how he and his friends broke off for some time, leaving Ven unsure of whether or not his friendship would survive.

But he knows better now. Friends bicker sometimes. They can't always see eye to eye. Whatever happened between Kohan and Ion... there has to be some kinda solution, right?]

Maybe... maybe you guys oughta talk about it. It won't get any better if you guys just ignore what happened.

You're right. I know we should. And I know avoiding the problem isn't going to accomplish anything.

[Logically, he knows what he should do. But it's all a matter of what he knows he can do.]

...but even knowing that... I don't know if I can talk to him just yet.

[He'd understand. Sometimes it's just too nerve-wracking to jump right into a discussion. A little time to think can go a long way.]

...something like that. There's just something I'm still trying to work past. And I don't want to risk making things any worse between us. That would be...

[Painful. Too painful for him to finish that thought. Just because they agreed they wanted to stay friends doesn't mean that's a guaranteed outcome. Especially if things continue on like this... it's not as though the thought hasn't crossed his mind.]

I'm sorry I can't be more specific. I'm not sure how much I'm at liberty to say.

That's okay. If it's something personal, I won't pry or anything.

[It's none of his business, even if Kohan is one of his friends.]

Just... try to talk to him sooner or later if you can. It might make a huge difference for him.

...I will. I have no intention of letting this go on indefinitely. He... means too much to me for me to allow something like that.

[Which is about as close as Ion is getting to admitting his reason for avoiding Kohan so much right now. And knowing that Kohan is suffering because of his own hang-ups... he'll have to figure out a better way of dealing with this.]

...but I'm glad he has a good friend like you watching out for him. And even though he may not be open about what's bothering him, I know he must feel the same.
