[Ever since Vanitas moved in, Ven's had a lot on his mind. Taking in the same guy who nearly killed a lot of his friends, took over his body, and caused general chaos isn't something most people would even consider.

But Ven's not like other people. He's far too nice for his own good, and what some may consider reckless he views as the 'right' thing-- especially when someone's starving and dehydrated.

So, when he opens the journal, he doesn't look or sound particularly sad-- just a little confused. Something's on his mind, if nothing else.]

Hey, guys. I've got a question... [A beat.]

Let's say you know this guy who's kind of a jerk. What's the best way to help him lighten up a bit and improve his attitude?

[Suddenly, there's another voice chiming in. One some people will probably recognize as Vanitas.]

I hear a lobotomy works wonders.

Hey!

[What follows is some shuffling, followed by a resounding SQUEAK! Probably from an inflatable hammer.]

[ooc: Italics = Vanitas. Ven's gonna be doing most of the talking, but Vanitas might make some background comments!]

Well, I saved his life, took him to the amusement park, and I've been trying to be a bit nicer to him.

[Even if Ven's still beyond mad about what he did.]

All I can think of right now is being nice to him and help him out.

[By 'help', he doesn't mean 'help him be a douche'. But that's obvious enough.]

It'll be slow, but I think I can do that. I just hope he doesn't push me away.

Just as long you keep at it and don't give up.

There's no way I'm gonna give up. Not if it means helping him live a better life and keeping all my friends safe.

Of course, and to make it easier for everyone in the village.

Hm...what does he like? ...Beside hurting people.

Roller coasters and ravioli. And picking on people, but that's not something I wanna encourage.

He can try learning how to make ravioli?

[...SNORT.]

He'd probably punch me if I even suggested it.

Too bad, the cooking part might've help somehow.

It'd help when I'm not around, but he probably wouldn't have fun doing it. He's shot down every suggestion I've given him so far.
