I'm sure some of you heard what happened to Axel. He got attacked and almost died.

Well, the person who hurt him's name is Vanitas. He wears a mask and armor all the time, and he can use a Keyblade. If you see him around, be careful; he's really dangerous, and I don't want anyone else to get hurt!

[With that little warning out of the way, he's highly considering closing his journal, but after a moment he adds:]

[Shortly after he finishes his message, Ven can be found outside, wearing his armor. That's not all, though; rather than travel around on foot, Ven's decided to use the rooftops to his advantage, gliding from roof to roof in order to see if he can spot Vanitas. If you're sleeping, don't mind any thuds that might occur from him making a landing. It's for a good cause!]

... That is weird. Maybe something happened...? I don't really know about Nobodies or anything, but how else could he look like you?

Something could've happened, but I don't remember anything from before I met Master Eraqus and my friends.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe I'm connected to his original self somehow.

You don't remember...?

[That sounds awfully familiar... But the only reason he doesn't remember his childhood is because he literally didn't have one. Luke sighs quietly to himself; he shouldn't immediately think a situation is similar to his own just because it sounds that way.

So, he focuses on something else.]

Who's his original?

No, everything before that's just...blank.

[Normally, that wouldn't bother him, but if there's some hidden explanation about Roxas, then maybe those lost memories are important.]

I think it's Sora. I've never met him, but he seems really important.

Sora, huh...

[He'll have to keep that name in mind, too. He's not sure if he's ever heard of anyone named Sora here, but he sounds pretty important in this case.

... And why does he have a girl's name?

His thoughts don't stay on the topic of Sora for long, though, as he just goes back to the memory thing. All a blank... But it couldn't be.]

... You know, there's a part of my life that I don't remember, either.

I don't remember anything from when I was a kid... anything before I was ten is just a blank.

[Back then this explanation came easily. Now that he knows why he has no memory, though... It just sounds wrong. Fake.]

[Luke sounds surprised... But at the same time, hesitant and almost sad. Maybe it doesn't mean the same thing. They're from different worlds, after all...]

Yeah. All I remembered was my name, but I didn't mind. Instead of thinking about my past, I focused on making new memories with Terra and Aqua.

[In a way, it is sad, but if it wasn't for Roxas and Vanitas, he really wouldn't have thought his memory loss was a big deal.]

That's what I always thought. You can't go forward if you're always looking back.

Sometimes you still wanna know?

I don't think it's the same for me, but it might be something similar. Roxas seems to think Vanitas has something to do with it, but I know I wouldn't get many answers from him.

Vanitas... What's he got to do with it?

We might be connected somehow.
