I'm sure some of you heard what happened to Axel. He got attacked and almost died.
Well, the person who hurt him's name is Vanitas. He wears a mask and armor all the time, and he can use a Keyblade. If you see him around, be careful; he's really dangerous, and I don't want anyone else to get hurt!

[With that little warning out of the way, he's highly considering closing his journal, but after a moment he adds:]
What do you think it means if someone looks just like you?

[Shortly after he finishes his message, Ven can be found outside, wearing his armor. That's not all, though; rather than travel around on foot, Ven's decided to use the rooftops to his advantage, gliding from roof to roof in order to see if he can spot Vanitas. If you're sleeping, don't mind any thuds that might occur from him making a landing. It's for a good cause!]

[He stumbles a bit, but pushes back with all his strength.]

You're a cast-off. Though I've gotta admit, you've improved by leaps and bounds.

[He stumbles back, landing on his rump. Before getting up, he shoots more firaga, aiming to knock Vanitas down.]
A cast-off? That doesn't even make sense.
[Action]
Poor idiot's all confused; I bet you don't even remember what happened. How you were made into what you are now.
[Action]
But I wasn't made into anything. I might not remember my past, but I'm still me! Whoever I was back then doesn't matter; I've got my friends to keep me going.
[Ven shakes his head, getting back on his feet.]

But it doesn't matter. He'll get back up and charge, attempting to nail Vanitas with quick blitz while he's still up in the air.]

Once he's healed up a bit, Ven jumps up into the air and uses air dash!]

[Psyche-out! Once Vanitas gets close enough, Ven lashes out at him from below. Have a nice blow to the chest, bub!]

[He steps out of the snow, brushing some off of his armor before he resumes his battle stance.]
