I'm sure some of you heard what happened to Axel. He got attacked and almost died.

Well, the person who hurt him's name is Vanitas. He wears a mask and armor all the time, and he can use a Keyblade. If you see him around, be careful; he's really dangerous, and I don't want anyone else to get hurt!

[With that little warning out of the way, he's highly considering closing his journal, but after a moment he adds:]

What do you think it means if someone looks just like you?

[Shortly after he finishes his message, Ven can be found outside, wearing his armor. That's not all, though; rather than travel around on foot, Ven's decided to use the rooftops to his advantage, gliding from roof to roof in order to see if he can spot Vanitas. If you're sleeping, don't mind any thuds that might occur from him making a landing. It's for a good cause!]

He said I'm strong enough to fulfill my purpose, but I thought he was just messing with me.

Xehanort and Vanitas were trying to bring upon the legendary Keyblade War, but to do so they needed to create something called the χ-blade. To create that weapon apparently they needed you. That's... what the Master was trying to protect you from.

But no matter what they say, that's not your "purpose", Ven. Your purpose is to be with me and Terra and for all of us to become Masters one day.

[By the time Ven responds, he's already fought with Vanitas.

He tries to listen to everything, but it's way too confusing. What's she mean by...?]

But why did they--

[He winces. Why does his head suddenly...?]

[It's rapidly getting worse. Why does that sound so familiar?

Does this have something to do with his memory loss?

Before long, the journal picks up a scream.]

[Aqua grips her journal tightly when she hears that scream and frantically calls out to him.]

Ven!

[No response. You might want to go see if he's okay!]

[Yep, she's rushing out of the house right now to go and find him.]

[Well, sooner or later, she'll find him on the ground, completely dazed.]

[And when she does find him she rushes over and kneels down beside him. She's even more worried now seeing him like that. She places her hand on his shoulder and gives him a little nudge to try and get his attention.]

Ven? Can you hear me?

Aqua...?

[Slowly, slowly getting up now.]

[She'll be helping him up, then.]

What happened?

I don't know...

[He places one hand on his head.]

But it felt kinda familiar.
