Twenty-Eighth Shooting Star - voice/action;
[Late at night, those who dare venture the woods may hear a sharp snap. The rustling of leaves, and... a cough? Seems someone's in the neighborhood, though from a distance, it looks like nothing more than a disembodied flame.
Should one venture closer, they'll find Ven with his clothes smudged with dirt, twigs poking outta his hair, and big, baggy circles under his eyes. Quite a departure from his normal, tidier appearance.
He continues on his way towards the village, eventually stopping at the plaza and plopping down at the edge of the fountain. Briefly, he catches glimpses of familiar faces walking by. Fuuko. Terra. Aqua. Vanitas.
Minako...
And each time, he shouts out their names. Tries to get up, but his legs are about as sturdy as rubber, and he finds himself back where he started.
After a while, he finally opens his journal and speaks.]
So, uh... I guess I've been missing a lot, huh? [Cue some sheepish laughter.]
Guess that's what happens when you go to the beach before a big Shift! I couldn't even use the teleporters to get back, so I kinda had to... walk. A lot, and then I got kidnapped.
[Tsk. What a pain.]
I'd ask what was up with that Shift, but I'm honestly just glad it's over. Couldn't even summon my Keyblade while that was going on.
[After a long pause, he heaves a soft sigh.]
Anyway, all these weird ghosts showing up got me thinking... A lot of my friends are gone now. Some have been gone for years. So I guess what I'm trying to say is... well, does anyone wanna be friends? My name's Ventus, and I've been here for a really long time. So if any of you guys are still new, I'm more than happy to give pointers. Or talk about some of my adventures in other worlds, maybe. Just uh... I think I could use some company right now.
[Anything to keep his mind off of those images.]

Adventures from different worlds?
voice;
...Well, sorta. It's normal for some of us, anyway.
[Because for the overwhelming population, it's definitely not common place, but enough people do it that it's not too crazy? Even if it's supposed to be a big secret...
Well, at least he's not explaining some of the more complex parts of the KH 'verse yet.]
voice;
Either way, that is so cool.
voice;
[...]
Actually, I almost crashed into a space ship once. Well, more like a space fortress.

[ Silver wants him to work out, but hey. They could have training while doing this? ]
[ voice ]
[What? What even? That sounds awesome. Too awesome to pass up.]
Hey, count me in! Maybe it'll help get me back on my feet.
[Even though he's literally been on his feet for like a day already. But walking's nothing special.]

But most people don't even know other worlds exist. They're separated by invisible walls, so unless you've got magic, a Star Shard, a Keyblade, or I guess a Gummi Ship, getting to see those worlds is really tough.
[Written]
So the people that can travel between worlds through one means or another, is there a purpose? Seems like a lot of effort just for sight-seeing.

So what kinda world do you wanna hear about? I've visited castles, space ships, an ancient city with its own coliseum, not to mention a bunch of tropical islands with real pirates! There's so many cool places that I'm not sure where to start.
[written]
How were you able to travel to each one of them?

Hi [ --right ] Ventus. I'm Red. Is talking over the journals for company okay?
voice
[He remembers Red from that one draft. Man, it's been a while.]
Sure, talking's just fine. So how've you been, anyway?
voice
Well, um- I've kinda been in the clinic... but I'm okay now. [ Sorta. ] I don't know if anything weird happened in the village, but I know you shouldn't climb a mountain on a rainy day.
[ Humour is good, right? ]
How about you? Getting kidnapped didn't make you all funny anywhere, did it?

That is, until they're interrupted by Ven shouting an unfamiliar name. Concerned, she takes a quick turn and skids to a halt by the fountain, Naga barking at Ven cheerfully. ]
Shh, shh, Naga! [ Korra waves down her barking as she looks back and forth. ]
Sorry- we heard a yell. Are you alright?
[action]
I... yeah, I'm okay! Just kinda... startled, I guess. You, uh... haven't been seeing strange visions, have you? Like people who aren't really there...
[He's gotta make sure it's not just him. For all he knows, it could be a kidnapping side effect.]
[action]
Actually, yeah. I have been seeing weird visions. Mostly people from home, but sometimes people I don't even know that just disappear when I try to talk to them. She's quicker at figuring out they're fake. [ And she gestures to Naga, who sniffs the air proudly. ]
...Is that who you were yelling at, out here?
