[He's been staring at his journal for a while, just trying to find the right words. It's... difficult, in part because he's so surprised and also due to sadness.

When Ven speaks into the journal, he tries to hide his disappointment; as a result, he sounds pretty strained.]

Hey, guys. Looks like it's December now, which means Christmas is right around the corner. I heard about a party over the journals, but does anyone else have something fun planned? If it's anything like last year, we'll probably get a ton of snow. A big snowball fight could be fun. Just an idea.

[He sighs. This isn't working...]

Terra's gone. After all this time, I didn't think he'd... [A beat.]

Does anyone wanna hang out? Or do something? I think I need a distraction right now.

[There, at least he's being honest. And with that, he'll probably check up on his housemates (especially Vanitas) and then head out into the village for a bit. He might be wandering a little aimlessly. He'll be just about everywhere before he returns back to the house.

Care to cheer him up? Or antagonize him? Anything goes!]

[It won't take long for Ven to make it to the fountain, and he'll be chilling until Sora's arrival.]

...Ven? [Even if he didn't know Terra, he was clearly important to his friend. So. He's going to do something about this.]

Hey--want to, uhhh...hang out with Toothless and me for awhile? We could...build a snow dragon, or something?

I'd be willing to spend some time with you, if you'd like. We can go for a walk... [Yeah she's not good at the whole trying to figure out how to cheer someone up, but it's something, right?]

[Not a literal second, but she'll probably get the idea. Naoto is smart like that.]

[Ven'll try and smile. He might look a wee bit strained still, but he's strong. It'll be okay.]

Yeah, just... sad, I guess. Terra's my best friend, and he was here for a long time.

I'll see you then.

[It won't take long for Naoto to get there, so as she's waiting out in the cold, she'll just be sitting on the fountain, reading a book. But... that's not exactly surprising since her nose is always stuck in a detective novel of some sort]

[Oh no... She remembers him... he'd been friendly when she'd come to Ventus's birthday party, and given how that had been so soon after she'd arrived... it'd meant a lot.]

I-I'm sorry... We... we can meet up or something, if you want.

[What are bros for?]

Yeah? I mean--yeah! Let's do it. Want to build it by the school? The younger kids might get a kick out of that.

[... She can't stop thinking about how she was in this position herself, not too long ago. Ven had been there for here then, and...]

[It's definitely ironic how their positions have definitely swapped. 'Course, Ven isn't really thinking of that right now.]

[Ven doesn't care if he hasn't known Lindsay as long as his other friends. A friend is a friend, and he's really looking to spend time with as many people as possible.]

[That's okay! Once Ven spots Naoto, he'll mosey on over, trying not to surprise her.]
