Fifteenth Shooting Star - voice;

[The draft was rough. A lot of people are still recovering from the emotional and physical strain.

But Ven isn't one to dwell on that for too long, and he figures the people of Luceti could use some positive discussion material. So, here he is.]

I know that everyone here comes from different worlds, but I've been thinking about it for a while, and I was wondering. How many of you guys have been to other worlds before?

Not Luceti. I mean before you came here.

And if you did see other worlds, what were they like? I'd love to hear about 'em! I've been to a lot of worlds, but I'm sure there's still thousands of 'em I've never even heard of.

[He pauses for a minute. Just asking about people who've seen other worlds does leave a lot of people out. Hmmm...]

Oh, and if you haven't, you could always talk about your adventures back home!

But you could take on someone who destroys planets! I've never even seen anyone with that much strength.

[Ven doesn't recognize any of those names, but geez. Wherever this guy's from, he's gotta know some tough people.]

It's mostly 'cause of my training. Anybody can get that strong if they train hard enough! [from his experience, anyways]

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-06-18 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Really?

[Wow, that's amazing!]

What kinda training?

[identity profile] 4starsavior.livejournal.com 2011-06-18 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Let's see... [He has to think about that - he's trained a lot of different ways over the years.] Training at higher altitudes, wearing heavy weights or weighted clothing, and training in places that have higher gravity have really helped me before! Wearing weights would be the easiest here. That battle dome place has some kinda gravity machine in it, but it must be broken - it only goes up to ten times the normal gravity!

I also learned how to manipulate ki, but I've heard that people here use other methods of fighting, so that might not be as useful for you.

[Higher altitudes, weighted clothes, higher gravity... wait a sec!]

Ten times still sounds like a lot, though! Have you been under more than that?

[identity profile] 4starsavior.livejournal.com 2011-06-18 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Let's see... Last time I tried it, I was training under a hundred times Earth's gravity. I might be able to get up to three hundred, but I haven't got a chance to use a working gravity machine yet.

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-06-19 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
A hundred times, and you could still move around? Whoa...

[identity profile] 4starsavior.livejournal.com 2011-06-19 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I couldn't at first, but I got used to it after a while. I had to work my way up to that, or else it would've done more harm than good!

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-06-19 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
Still, that's amazing! I don't think I'd be able to pull that off.

[identity profile] 4starsavior.livejournal.com 2011-06-19 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't say that! You don't know for sure unless you try it! You just need to work your way up to it. I'm sure that battle dome place would work for now!

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-06-21 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
I guess you're right! And I've fought in low gravity before, so the other way around can't be too hard...

[identity profile] 4starsavior.livejournal.com 2011-06-21 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
See? It's not so bad! Plus, if you keep training 'til you get used to that kinda gravity, you'll be a lot faster and tougher normally!

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-06-24 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. I'll just have to do my best, but I should probably work up to the higher settings. Don't wanna overdo it!
