Fifteenth Shooting Star - voice;

[The draft was rough. A lot of people are still recovering from the emotional and physical strain.

But Ven isn't one to dwell on that for too long, and he figures the people of Luceti could use some positive discussion material. So, here he is.]

I know that everyone here comes from different worlds, but I've been thinking about it for a while, and I was wondering. How many of you guys have been to other worlds before?

Not Luceti. I mean before you came here.

And if you did see other worlds, what were they like? I'd love to hear about 'em! I've been to a lot of worlds, but I'm sure there's still thousands of 'em I've never even heard of.

[He pauses for a minute. Just asking about people who've seen other worlds does leave a lot of people out. Hmmm...]

Oh, and if you haven't, you could always talk about your adventures back home!

Sometimes! But I miss all my friends more than anything else, especially Aqua.

It sounds like you have a lot of friends back home, when you put it that way.

Well, I tried to make friends in all the worlds I visited.

[Especially after that incident in Radiant Garden.]

How did you intend to keep in contact with all of them, if they're so scattered? Do different worlds have ways to communicate?

I could've gone back and visited them every now and then. I know I promised Herc I'd see him again once he becomes a hero.

But even if it took a while, we'd still be connected.

[Leave it to Ven to bring out the sappy speeches.]

Still connected. [He smirks a little. He knows a person or two who would talk like that.] I hope you get to see your friends again whenever you go home.

Thanks, Leon. I'm sure I'll see them again, but I'm in no hurry to leave, either.

Yeah, I hear you there. Having friends in both Luceti and my world, and knowing they'll still be there when I go home, makes me appreciate Luceti a little more. ...You know, despite the bad parts of being here.

Yeah, but everything's got its ups and downs, right? Luceti gets pretty rough sometimes, but there's still a lot of good to it.

[His voice is a little wry.] That's probably why I can't say that I hate it here.

Exactly! I don't think there's a problem with this world, just the Malnosso and the Third Party.

It's too bad there doesn't seem to be a lot we can do about the situation. We're just getting tugged along in their craziness.

Yeah, but that's why we've gotta do what we can for the people here. At least it's better than letting the Malnosso have their way.

Well, technically, the Malnosso are having their way already. We've just adjusted over the time we've been here.

Well, I mean, letting them have everything their way. I'm sure they'd want all of us to focus on just the Third Party instead of protecting everybody.

True. I guess they would like it if we were willing to take more risks. [What a dark thought.]
