Sixth Shooting Star - voice/action;

I'm sure some of you heard what happened to Axel. He got attacked and almost died.

Well, the person who hurt him's name is Vanitas. He wears a mask and armor all the time, and he can use a Keyblade. If you see him around, be careful; he's really dangerous, and I don't want anyone else to get hurt!

[With that little warning out of the way, he's highly considering closing his journal, but after a moment he adds:]

What do you think it means if someone looks just like you?

[Shortly after he finishes his message, Ven can be found outside, wearing his armor. That's not all, though; rather than travel around on foot, Ven's decided to use the rooftops to his advantage, gliding from roof to roof in order to see if he can spot Vanitas. If you're sleeping, don't mind any thuds that might occur from him making a landing. It's for a good cause!]

[Now why does that voice sound familiar?]

Protection? You worried about getting attacked around here?

Well, kinda! I'm looking for this guy named Vanitas. He hurt one of my friends, and he might cause more trouble if somebody doesn't stop him!

[Well, he sure sounds like Ven, but his tone's a bit more serious than usually.]

Have you seen anyone wearing black armor and a mask, Zack? That's who I'm looking for!

[....Bwuh. Ven? What the heck is he wearing? Well, one thing at a time...]

Black armor? What, like the suit you're wearing? I haven't seen anybody like that.

Not exactly. His mask's smooth, and the armor's really tight.

[But if he hasn't seen him, man...]

That's okay. He's good at hiding, so it'll be really hard to find him. Just thought it was worth a shot!

Need a hand? If he's dangerous, you could be in for some fight.

[Personal fights are never pretty, and maybe it's bad to get involved, but- well, it's not like he can just stand by when a friend's in trouble.]

[He's torn. On one hand, there's safety in numbers. On the other hand, he doesn't want Zack getting hurt...]

Promise you'll be careful?

No worries, Ven! I'm not a SOLDIER just for show. [And because showing off is proof, he jumps- right onto the roof of the house, hands on his hips.] I'm no pushover either!

You're a solider?

[SNAP. Zack, you just became a million times more awesome.]

[Heck yeah, cool points 8|b Zack nods.] Yeah! I trained for years to get to 1st Class. It's a really important job on my world!

Whoa, that's so cool!

[GRINNING...not that he can tell, what with the armor.]

Does that mean you're a hero?

[That armor is kind of distracting actually 8|]

Well, I want to be someday. It's still a work in progress- I don't think I've done anything that heroic yet.

Well, if you've got a dream, all you need to do is believe, and I'm sure you'll get there!

[A beat. Zack, you have officially distracted him.]

So, what do SOLDIERS do?

[This is a good thing, at least for now; better to enjoy a conversation than to wear yourself out looking for trouble.]

SOLDIERs are like the police, I guess, only more of a specialty group. We do the missions that need strong fighters who can take and dish out a lot of damage. It's mostly fighting monsters and protecting people who can't fight.

And you said you're not a hero yet! If you help protect people, I think you're definitely hero material.

Well, I'd hate to get an ego about it. I mean, if I think I'm a hero, then I won't have that dream anymore! I'd have to look for a new goal.

Good point! So what you wanna do is be the best hero you can be and do something really heroic?

Yeah! Wouldn't it be cool to do something really amazing, like save the world?

Yeah, definitely! I know I've helped people in a lot of worlds, but to actually save them... That'd be on a whole different level.

How about you? You must have dreams, too.

Well...

[He'll go ahead and summon his Keyblade!]

My dream's to become a Keyblade Master.

[Whoa, that was sudden! Zack takes a step back in surprise, eyes widening, then crouches down to get a good look at it.]

A Keyblade? I've never seen a weapon like that before!

Well, they're really special. To be chosen by the Keyblade, you've gotta have a strong heart.

[He'll lower the Keyblade to his side. Yes, he's holding it backwards.]

A strong heart, huh... [Pondering this. So, like- wanting to be a hero, almost? |D;] That's pretty impressive, then! Looks like it picked the right person for the job.

You really think so?

[Aw, shucks. You're too kind, Zack!]

[Honesty! Both blessing and curse, that.]

Of course! I wouldn't say so otherwise.
