Hey, there's something I've been wondering for a while now. Some people here use words like "kun" and uh... "san" at the end of people's names, but what does it mean? Is it like saying mister or miss? It's something I never heard before I came here, not even in other worlds.
[Hmm. There's something else he's curious about, too. Prior to the draft, people were talking about Christmas, so...]
By the way, isn't Christmas coming up pretty soon? I wonder if Santa's gonna make it here. If he can travel to all the worlds in one night, then I'm sure it's possible, but what if the barrier gets in the way? Has he ever been here before?

[Rika giggles.] Since you shared that story with me, I will now share the myth with you.
Long ago, the Greek God Zeus had an affair with a mortal woman, who bore a child she named Hercules. This child was a demigod, and the subject of Zeus' wife, Hera's, hatred. Soon after he was born, she sent two poisonous snakes into his crib, but her plan failed when Hercules managed to strangle the snakes and save himself.
During his younger years, Hercules did many good deeds. He was able to end the power that the Minyans had over Thebes, and they no longer had to pay tributes. As a reward, the king of Thebes had Hercules marry his daughter Megara. They had three children, who he loved very much.
[At this point, Rika sounds slightly troubled. If he knows Hercules, it might be difficult for him to hear the rest of the myth.] Mii. The story becomes very sad. If you would prefer, I could leave it here.

[Hmm, that's interesting! In a way, Ven wonders how much of this myth is accurate to the Hercules he met, but he'd have to ask Herc himself.]
Whoa, it sounds like Herc had a hard time, even when he was a baby. He never told me that his dad's wife hated him, just that he could only regain his godhood if he became a true hero...
[But if he was born a demigod, that changes things a bit, doesn't it? Hmm...]
You can keep going, if you want. Does it really get that bad?
[voice]
Did he? It sounds as if the Hercules you may have met is slightly different from the one in the myths.
Ah, I believe so. However, if this one is different from your friend... that might make this myth easier to hear.
[voice]
So if you wanna continue, go for it!

One day, Hera caused Hercules to go into a fit of madness, which resulted in Hercules killing his wife Hera and his three children. When he had realized what he had done, Hercules was devastated. So, he an oracle for advice one what he should do, and the oracle led him to the King.
The King told him to complete twelve difficult tasks, which included killing the Hydra and capturing Cerberus, the guardian of the underworld. These tasks named Hercules a hero and when he died, he became an immortal god.
[voice]
It sounds like Hera really did hate him. I can't believe she'd do something like that...
But at least he became a hero, even if he lost his family.
[voice]
That's true. Although, becoming a hero did come with a great cost.
[She's silent for a moment.] ... Mii. I never did ask you what your name was.
