Hey, can anyone hear me? I heard some voices coming from this journal, so I hope I'm doing this right.

[A beat.]

Anyway, my name's Ventus, and I've got a quick question. Could anyone tell me about this place? It looks like I'm in a forest, but I don't see any people around. Truth is, I'm kinda lost.

[Those in the forest are sure to find this derp wandering around in new feather garb. He stops every once in a while to look around, occasionally scratching his head.

It's odd. While he's used to world travel and even changes brought on by it to a degree, the fact that he showed up in this world without any of his belongings or the Star Shard. His clothes, his armor, and even the Star Shard just up and disappeared, which makes no sense.

So what's he doing? Well, given the way he's aimlessly making his way through the forest, he's either a) really lost, b) looking for something, or c) a combination of both!]

Man, I wonder what happened. Did somebody steal it?

[And what is this "it"? Should anyone encounter Ventus, he might just explain! For now, he'll continue on his way.]

I've got this weapon called a Keyblade, and when I travel between worlds, it changes into a Glider-- kinda like a hover board!

Keyblade...? Is that like a gunblade? And changes into a hover board? That's one pretty versatile weapon.

I've never heard of a Gunblade, but a Keyblade's like a sword, only it's shaped like a key. It can unlock any door, and the people who wield it are in charge of protecting the worlds from darkness.

Sounds like a pretty handy weapon to come around. A gunblade is... [wait for it.] A gun and a sword put together. You get your kaboom and your nice clean slice in one fell swoop!

Hey, that sounds pretty handy, too! My Keyblade's kinda like that, just with less bullets. I can use it for close-range attacks, but it's also useful for magic!

I don't know many people who can wield one though. They're pretty heavy. Is a keyblade lighter than a gunblade?

Well, I'd have to see a gunblade to really know. Mine's not too heavy, though. Not as heavy as Terra's, anyway.

Yeah, definitely! It'd be kinda weird if tons of people had the same name, anyway. Things would get confusing real fast.

You're in luck then! As far as I know, everybody currently in Luceti all have unique names. Or at least the people that I've met do anyway.
